Inside or outside?

When you keep your animals inside, it’s best to place the cage one a calm place. Make sure there are no drafts, floor heating or much direct sunlight. Guinea pigs love to run outside in the garden when the weather is good enough. Pay attention to their safety concerning the temperature, cats, birds, shadow, etc. 

When you house your guinea pigs outside, it’s often easy to provide more space. Guinea pigs can be housed outside during the entire year. They need a well-isolated enclosure, especially during colder periods. Make sure you provide a fully covered space and a night shed that is lifted from the ground. Always check if the bedding is dry, otherwise it won’t be warm enough.
